In Russia Leonid finished Russian Circus School and University of Art and Culture to become an artist and a show creator.

 Danger always attracts people. Leonid knows what his audience wants  to see,- things that are sometimes unsafe for the artist himself.  He still performs his best acts again and again...

"...Otherwise, my life is fun. Partying all day and night. I wish that was true. In reality, I have to work very hard to stay in shape. I work out at least 2 hours a day 4-5 times a week. I  practice all my circus acts, dance numbers, and study English. When I arrived in the USA, I could not speak any English. Today I can speak not only with my friends, agents, and co-workers, but with my audience as well. Although I still have a "heavy" Russian accent, they understand me. My work is 24/7-365"- Leonid

 Performing since the age of 12, Leonid has developed circus tricks that only he can perform.

"...When you do what you love doing, time goes by fast. I cannot believe how many years I have been performing and how many  countries I have traveled to. I meet so many interesting people, learn from them, and later use that knowledge in my work. That way I can come up with  something unusual..."- Leonid

 Today Leonid lives in the USA. He travels from coast to coast performing in  the hottest TV and stage shows.

 In 2000 year Taras Kardashov offered Leonid the chance to create their own show. In October 2001 Miami saw the first version of the show "Leo-Leopatra". The show ran for one year on the best stages and TV channals in Miami, until Leonid and Taras decided to move to New York City.

"...At a certain moment in my life I realized that I could not do everything by myself . I was delighted when Taras came up with an idea for  the show. A show  where I can express myself not only as a solo performer, but also as a headliner, host, choreographer and creator.  Together we did a great job..."- Leonid

 Later Taras Kardashov became  the exclusive producer of the show as Leonid achieved a higher level of performance. News papers began calling him the "Russian Sensation in America", but his nickname with friends and admirers was  "The Magnificent", which then became "Leonid the Magnificent". He liked this so much that he adopted "Leonid the Magnificent" as his new stage name.

 The combination of costumes, music, light, choreography, and special skills  make Leonid a very powerful  stage presence. His audiences never forget his performances.

Hula-hoops. Fact: During 4 minutes of performance with hula-hoops, Leonid burns more calories than in his regular 20 minutes morning work out.

The cube. For somebody it's just a beautiful number, for others it's a message: "Stop living in the box. Get out. Enjoy the life!"

"BELLE"-a solo dance, where Leonid uses jazz, modern dance and gymnastic skills together. Like most Russian artists Leonid started his training in ballet and adagio, later he studied jazz-modern, ballroom and street dance. In New York City Leonid took classes in National and folkdance, including American, African-American, Latin, Chinese and many other styles of dance.
